Adobe photoshop lightroom software

Adobe photoshop lightroom software
When the digital craze flooded the professional photography niche, high quality digital cameras were developed at a staggering rate. The interest was high and some enthusiasts ventured into the digital adventure. But it was not before digital SLR - single lens reflex - cameras were introduced, when the big exodus took place. The quality of photographs was extremely well, the photographers could use the lenses they already had, all the handling was just the same like with film cameras, only the pictures went digitally on a memory card media. After a while, the photographers recognized all the advantages of all digital working environments and switched in large numbers over to the digital platform. As time went by, the digital platform required from the photographer profound computer knowledge and extensive time spent in front of the computer screen; furthermore the use of several programs to handle all the workflow was needed, prompting learning all the software that was to be used. Request for a simple software to handle the workflow and associated tasks were becoming loud. At the same time, several software companies recognized this new market niche and started with the development, most prominently the software giant Adobe and the computer company Apple. While Adobe was still in the planning stadium, Apple announced Aperture, a straight forward software solution for the photographic professional. Adobe counter-reacted with the release of a public beta, a few short weeks after Apple released Aperture. The public beta was offered for free, the Aperture solution did cost around four hundred dollars, the choice was easy, Aperture sales were not very good. Another nail in the coffin of Apple’s new program was that Adobe, being in the beta phase, could fix all the mistakes Aperture had and offer improved solutions in direct contact with the final user communities. Some very smart people were at work, which transferred the disadvantage of being late with the development, into the advantage of providing a better solution than the competitor, not to mention the lower price. The software solution of Adobe provided exactly what the photographers were in need for; a workflow organizing and simplifying solution which made all the arduous tasks easy and automated and helped organize vast amounts of picture data in a manageable manner. There was no need for learning an additional software program, because Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is created to work intuitively, providing all needed solutions right in front of the user’s eyes. The short time to get used to the software was provided during the public beta and later with the downloadable thirty day trial.
